Upstaged by Opening Act

Opening act the North Mississippi All Stars had only a 45 minute set but it was enough to make you forget about T & T. Though Porch Light sounded really good and are top-notch musicians, there are too many components and members to the band, often making them sound more like a blues act than a symphony orchestra. My 2 buddies who attended the Orpheum gig agreed that lead guitarist Luther Dickinson is amazing and clearly the better of the 2 bands. Both bands performed at the 2026 Levitate fest in Marshfield and I felt that North Mississippi blew them away at that venue as well.
